We are starting to have more alumni (the school is now in it's 11th year) so we needed a way to stay in touch. Lianne Price (class of 2003) had started a facebook about the crazy coach at Colts Neck called the "Lifetime Members of the Schlentz Cult" which is actually pretty funny. From the North or South/West: New Jersey Turnpike to exit 8. Follow signs for Rt. 33 East. Follow Rt. 33 East for approximately 5 miles. Take the jug handle for Iron Ore Road. After crossing Rt. 33 make your first right onto La Valley Drive. I am the 4th house on the right, number 21. Parking is in the back just follow the really long driveway.

The 1st Annual Cross Country/Track Barbecue

We had our 1st annual Cross Country/Track Alumni barbecue this past summer at ex-coach, Rich Concato's house. We threw it together about 3 weeks before and had about 25 alumni there. It was a great time with plenty of great food and we stayed for about 3-4 hours. We would like to do the same thing every year but have more people join us. We charged $5 a person (you can always borrow the money from Schlentz) and Schlentz covered the rest. The one catch is you have to be out of high school for at least a year before you can come. So write down the date and plan ahead. Below is a picture early in the evening before some 2006 graduates showed up.
