You are invited to the Colts Neck Relays hosted by Colts Neck HS. As in the past, we plan on getting some great fields, particularly in the 4 x 800 and Distance Medley Relays, where we’ve had a lot of Penn Relay qualifiers. This is the last weekend you can qualify for Penn in the relays.

NEW for 2011! We are only taking the first 25 boys and 25 girls teams that enter or notify us they are coming. We want to sure to finish no later than 3:10 and that's the only way we can do it. We will take any additional teams that want to run just the 4 x 800 or DMR. Hy-tech rosters must be in, no later than the Monday before. No roster at that point, your team does not compete. We can no longer chase after you to get it in. It has cost us to start the meet late the last two years. It can't happen again. A time schedule that will end by 3:10.

“A” and “B” teams will be allowed for everything but the pole vault and 4 x 1600 meter relays. "C" teams will be turned away.

No more than 2 heats for each gender in the DMR and 4x800. We will use a two-turn stagger for the 1^st lap. We will allow any quality 4 x 800 or DMR teams into the meet, whether the rest of the team competes or not. We want quality fields since this is the last weekend to qualify for Penn Relays.

The fastest 3 seeded heats for the SMR and 4x400 will start in lanes. The rest will be one-turn stagger.

Every field event mark will be measured.

Medals to top 6 teams in each race as well as top 3 for “B” teams.

No divisions, just great competition.

Time schedule will be revised and enclosed in packet after we receive all entries.

$18 for running relay, $12 for field relay (2/team). Maximum of $275 for boys or girls team, $550 both.

We have a 6 lane track with 9 lanes on the straight. We have a 2^nd LJ/TJ pit and just bought a 2^nd pole vault pit for the meet.

There will be 3 jumps or throws in the shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and triple jump. In the high jump and pole vault, competitors will continue until they have missed 3 consecutive misses. We will not break ties in the field events. We may have a 6 jump rule in the high jump if numbers are too high.
